‘Web Development Club’ of Uttaranchal Institute of Management organized an event, titled “Code the Template” on 27th February, 2019. Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi was the Chief Guest and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi & Director-UIM Prof.(Dr.) Pradeep Suri were the Guest of Honour of the event.
30 groups participated in the event. Each group consisted of 2 members. The themes of the event were:
1. Voter Awareness
2. Sports
3. Energy Conservation
The Faculty Coordinators of the event were Ms. Lisa Gopal and Mr. Amarjeet Rawat.
The judgment criteria comprised of‘Designing and Layout’, ‘Theme Content’ and ‘Use of Technology’.
Mr. Abhishek K. Pathak, Head-Website Development Club welcomed all the dignitaries.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri briefed the students regarding the event. Shri. Jitender Joshi motivated the students to excel in all areas. Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi motivated the students and encouraged the team members.
The event was judged by the jury consisting of IT experts, Dr. Sonal Sharma (HOD-IT) and Dr. Sumit Chaudhary (HOD-CSE, UIT).
The winners were:
First Prize -Team-11 [Satyam Prasad (BCA IV B) and Purushotam Rawat (BCA IV B)]
Second Prize -Team-29 [ShubhamTiwari (B.Sc. (IT) VI) and NehaVerma (BCA VI)]
Runners Up -Team-7 [Nikhil Maurya (MCA IV) & Anchal Bhatt (MCA IV)
(Tie) -Team-16 [Kartikey Joshi (B.Sc. (IT) IV) and Samiya Siddiqi (B.Sc.(IT) IV)
The prizes were distributed by Hon’ble Chancellor, Shri. Jitender Joshi.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Club Head – Mr. Abhishek Pathak.
