On the eve of Deepawali and the advent of festive season all the members of Uttaranchal University initiated the celebrations on October 25, 2019 with great joy and fervour. Deepawali marks the home coming of Lord Rama and symbolizes the victory of good over evil. Uttaranchal University aspires to develop the youth into successful professionals with high moral and ethical values.
The students of Uttaranchal University, under the aegis of Cultural Club – Uttaranchal University, made beautiful Rangoli in the entrance of the Administrative Block. The festivities were inaugurated in the campus by Hon’ble Chancellor and Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor of Uttranchal University by lighting the auspicious and symbolic lamp. Hon’ble Chancellor gave his wishes and blessings to all the members of the University. He appreciated the efforts of the students for making beautiful Rangoli. Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor also conveyed his wishes to all present. The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets by the Hon’ble Chancellor.
