Uttaranchal organizes ‘Save the Strays’

The Globe Club (Global Learning and Observation to Benefit the Environment Club) of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, under the aegis of Uttaranchal University, organized “Save the Strays” activity from 15th June, 2019 to 21st June, 2019 under the able leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri (Director-UIM).

The activity was conducted and supervised by Mr. Rohit Dhiman (Head – Globe Club), along with the members of Globe Club.

The objective of the activity was to boost the values of empathy and sensitivity towards animals specifically and the environment at large among children. Appealing to the natural sensitivities of humans, awakening their feelings and empathy for animals is the need of the hour.

Mr. Rohit Dhiman conducted this activity along with the active participation of students of various courses of UIM. Around 50 students participated in the one-week activity. Such activities strengthen the emotional and mental health of the students and ignite the feelings of compassion towards the welfare and development of the society.
