Uttaranchal Institute of Technology organized an Essay Writing Competition on 25th January, 2019 with the aim to celebrate National Voter’s Day. All the constituent Departments of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology collaborated and planned the event.
The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K.Joshi, Dr. Bharti Ramola (Cultural Head, Uttaranchal University), Mr. Amit Kumar Sharma (Cultural Co-ordinator UIT), Mr. Arvind Singh Rawat (Member), Ms. Ruby Pant (Member) , Ms. NishimaChadda (Member) & Mr. Vasant Baishya (Member) Cultural Committee, UIT.
Students of various streams participated in the event with great enthusiasm and penned their views on the topic “Racial Equity & Voting Right”.
55 students participated in the Essay Writing Competition. The participants were excited as the topic of competition was thrilling and of their interest. The purpose of the competition was to raise awareness among the students regarding voting rights.
AyshaAyub CSE (3rd Year), Kartik Patwal CSE (3rd Year)& Gurvinder Singh ME (2nd Year) were the Student Coordinators of the event.
