On the occasion of “National Voter’s Day” School of Applied and Life Sciences organised a Rally to create awareness for voting amongst the people of nearby Kehri Gaon and Premnagar region on 25th January, 2019.
The rally was flagged off by Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi, Vice- Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi, Principal-SALS Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, Head- Cultural Committee, Uttaranchal University Dr. Bharti Ramola and other faculty members.
A large number of students participated in the event. They enchanted slogans and carried banners displaying slogans related to awareness about voting. The students were very excited and happy to interact with the local community. They told them about their fundamental right to vote and the significance of judicious voting leading to selection of a leader who would work for the upliftment of their area. The students were accompanied by Dr. Bharti Ramola. Dr. Poonam Negi, Dr. Shuchi Upadhayay, Dr. Indra Rautela, Dr. N.C.Joshi, Dr. Naveen Kumar, Mr. Shivam Pandey and Mr. Vinod Joshi.
