Cultural Committee of Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized a Rangoli Competition on 26 March, 2021 on the occasion of Holi Festival. The theme of the competition was ‘Festival of Colors: Holi’. The event was organized by Mrs. Jyotsana Suyal under the guidance of Dr. Vikash Jakhmola Dean-UIPS.
The aim of event was to celebrate the festival of Holi in which the students showed their creativity with vibrant colors. Rangoli is the embodiment of Hindu belief and the festivities bestowed upon us. The students made their respective rangoli in the stipulated duration of two hours using different colors. The participants also expressed the message conveyed through their rangoli. Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal hosted the event. Prof. Devendra Pathak, Vice Chancellor- Uttaranchal University, congratulated all on this auspicious occasion and also appreciated the work done by the students.
The participants were judged on the basis of theme conveyed, color combination, creativity and overall appearance. 53 students participated in the Rangoli Competition. It was a successful event well conducted by the joint contribution of Mrs. Nidhi Gairola, Ms. Pooja Shah, Mrs. Kiran Dobhal, Ms. Mahamedha, Mrs. Taru, Ms Shalu.
