Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated ‘World Tuberculosis Day 2021’ on 24th March, 2021 by organizing a Poster Making Competition. Every year, World Tuberculosis (TB) Day is celebrated on March 24 to raise public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of TB and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic.
The event was organized by Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal, Assistant Professor, UIPS and Dr. Ankit Sharma, Assistant Professor, UIPS. Students have participated with enthusiasm in the event.
Dr. Vikas Jakhmola, Dean-UIPS, elaborated upon the general awareness of tuberculosis, its prevention and control.
