Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences conducted a social campaign wherein it donated clothes to the homeless and needy people on 24th March, 2021. The students of UIPS collected the clothes and then after sorting and cleaning packed them for distribution. The collected clothes were distributed in the slum area of Nandi ki Chowki. The people expressed their thanks for this kind gesture.
All the faculty members supported the students. Dr. Vikash Jakhmola, Dean – UIPS, appreciated the students for their endeavour and said that one should donate and help others at least once a year. He further added donation gives you happiness and peace of mind.
