Uttaranchal Institute of Management organizes an Educational-cum-Excursion Tour to Goa

Uttaranchal Institute of Management organized an Educational-cum-Excursion Tour to Goa from 13th to 20th October, 2019. 90 students from UG and PG Courses enthusiastically participated in it under the mentorship of Faculty Coordinators, namely, Mr. Anil Singh Chauhan, Mr. Sameer Dev Sharma, Dr. Deepti Sharma and Ms. Shailee Parmar. They all spent three nights and three days in Goa.

They went to Goa from Bombay by a Luxury Cruise ANGRIA. This trip was greatly enjoyed and was memorable. The students spent a blissful time on cruise pool. They were also entertained by a pool-side Orchestra and enjoyed DJ Night. At Goa, they enjoyed several adventure sports such as Banana Ride, Wind Surfing, Motor Bike Ride, Scuba Diving, Parasailing, to mention a few.

A full-day trip to Doodh Sagar Falls, through the jungles between the border of the Indian states Goa and Karnataka, was highly adventurous. It was a ride of about 12 kilometers by Thar Jeeps and 1.5 km was through exciting and challenging trekking. The fall of water from a height of over 1,017 feet created an illusion of a sea of milk falling from the top.

Next day, the students spent a wonderful time in buying dresses and dry fruits at Panjim Capital Market. The return journey that started on 18th October, 2019 was also great. The students felt truly cheerful and rejuvenated.
