In pursuance of our resolve to educate school students, Globe Club of ‘Uttaranchal Institute of Management’ conducted the ‘Shiksha Daan’ Activity on 3rd April, 2021 at ‘Akhil Bhartiya Mahila Ashram’ Dehradun.
The activity was conducted under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri (Dean, UIM), Dr. Amitabh Bhargav (HOD, Management) & Mr. Abhishek Pathak (In charge -Cultural and Academic Events ) and was executed with the coordinated efforts of Globe Club Members, namely, Mr. Rohit Dhiman (Head-Globe Club), Dr. Mayank Pant, Dr. Sangeeta Sundriyal, Dr.Sunil Shukla ,Mr. Deepak Tyagi and Ms.Sonakshi Bhatia.
The event was conducted in collaboration with a Dehradun-based NGO ‘Jai –Youth Wing Shri Nityanand Swami Jan Sewa Samiti’ with an active support extended by Shri Vinayak Sharma (President, Jai -Youth Wing of the Society), his team-members and the Principal of the school.
The student volunteers of UIM interacted with the school students and conducted two sessions.
The first session was conducted to apprise the students about COVID-19, symptoms and preventive measures. Further it was urged to follow these measures to prevent the spread of the COVID-19. The second session focused on the significance of exercise to change body, mind and attitude.
