School of Liberal Arts organizes a Symposium on “Relevance of Gandhian Thought in Current Scenario”

Cultural Club and Literary Club, under the aegis of School of Liberal Arts, organized a symposium towards the celebration of 75 years of Indian Independence under the initiative “Aazaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav”. The event entitled “Relevance of Gandhian Thought in Current Scenario”, dedicated to Gandhian thoughts and ideals, was organized on 5th April, 2021.

Students of School of Liberal Arts participated in the event and came up with their self-composed thoughts to celebrate the inspiring and enchanting ideals of the Father of our nation. The speeches were adorned with impressive allusions, thoughts and distinctive aspects that were related to Gandhiji and how they shaped his dedication to serve the nation.

The event was hosted by Surabhi Gaur [B.A. (Hons.) Psychology], who welcomed the audience and introduced the participants to everyone.The students shared their views about how they comprehended Gandhian philosophy and ideals. Everyone took a keen interest in listening to the marvelous ideas and some intricate pieces of self composed poetries that added to the charm of the entire event.

After all the participants had gracefully presented their thoughts, Vote of Thanks was proposed by Samridhdi Kandpal [B.A. (Hons.) English]. All the organizers, teachers, and speakers of the event were heartily appreciated by the audience. At the same time, people who attended the event were applauded for their keen interest and constant motivation throughout the wholesome event making it a success.
