A series of ‘Board of Studies’ Meetings was organized by Computer Application Department (UIM) on 9th June, 2021 to revise the syllabus of BCA, B.Sc. (IT) and MCA. The meeting was initiated by the Chairman of BOS Committee Prof (Dr.) Pradeep Suri. The members of “Board of Studies” included Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, Dean-UIM & Chairman-BOS and Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma, HOD-Computer Application Department, UIM, & Member Secretary-BOS. Prof. (Dr.) Nipur Singh, Professor-Computer Application Department, Kanya Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Dehradun and Dr. Narender Kumar, Associate Professor-Doon University, Dehradun, attended the meeting as External Members. Mr. Rohit Panday, Technical Specialist, HCL, Software and Mr.Vijendra Chauhan, CEO, EVON Technology attended the meeting as Industry Experts. Dr. Sunil Shukla, Dr. Rajiv Kumar, Dr. Monisha Awasthi, Mr. Sameer Dev Sharma and Dr. Himani Maheswari attended the meeting as Members.
The drafts of revised syllabus, as suggested by the feedbacks of the stakeholders, the students, the teachers and the alumni were presented before all the members of BOS. The Experts put forth some valuable suggestions which were deliberated upon by all the members. Some of the suggestions proposed by the experts were accepted by all the members unanimously and were incorporated in the syllabus. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Member Secretary Prof. (Dr.) Sonal Sharma.
