A Guest Lecture on ‘Calculus’ was organized on 11th February, 2019 by the Department of Mathematics, Uttaranchal College of Applied & Life Sciences. Dr. Ashok Kumar (Assistant Professor, Departmentof Mathematics, HNB Garhwal University Srinagar) was the Guest Speaker. Mr. Atmanand (Assistant Professor – Department of Mathematics) introduced the Guest Speaker and the topic of lecture to the students. He further invited Dr. Kumar for his Expert Session. Dr. Kumar elaborated the various ways in which real life practical problems could be solved with the application of Calculus. He specially focused on the topics related to limits, continuity and differentiability of real functions. Dr. Ajay Singh, Principal-SALS, Dr. V.K.Srivastava, Head – Department of Mathematics and the Faculty Members of Department of Mathematics, namely, Dr. Ajay Kumar, Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Mr. Atma Nand, Dr. Mohit Kumar, Dr. Shalu Choudhary and Ms Dipika Saxena were present during the session.
