With the global pandemic having closed schools and colleges, the role of teachers has become even more significant now. Everyone realizes how incredibly inspiring and rigorous work teachers do. The celebration of Teachers’ Day 2020 was expected to be a low-key affair, as compared to previous years, because of the pandemic. But, on the contrary, the unprecedented situation, in no way, could dampen the spirit. To celebrate the day cultural events were scheduled virtually on September 5, 2020 wherein students and teachers of School of Agriculture participated enthusiastically. Many events like songs, poems, jokes, dance performances and the like were presented by the teachers and the students. The day witnessed the strong and special bond between teachers and their students. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University witnessed the programme and inspired the students and teachers with his influential words. Everyone enjoyed the day and wished each other a safe and healthy life ahead.
