Department of Civil Engineering, Uttaranchal University, continued its years of legacy of motivating the students and inculcating the honors and respect for teachers in the heart of students and the society by online celebrating “Teachers day” for marking the birth anniversary of second President of India, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on 05/09/2020, with all the precautions for safety against COVID.
The event was organised by Activity coordinator Mr. Shubham Khatri, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department. The event was attended by students of Civil Engineering Department. The event started with students welcoming all faculties, HOD, Civil Engineering Department, Mr. Awadhesh Chandramauli and Director UIT, Dr. Munish sethi. The students honored the teachers of the department and thanking them for their hard work and zeal to motivate students to achieve big heights in life. The students performed songs and danced at various cultural songs and presented their drawings and cards to the teachers online. The event concluded with teachers giving well wishes to all their students for their future endevours.
