Members of Happy Pixels Photography Club (MCS) attended a Photo Conclave and Workshop hosted by ‘The Explorers’ at UPES on 17th January, 2020. The Workshop was conducted by Mr. Sameer Ashraf, Sony Alpha Specialist. The event intended to motivate the budding photographers and cinematographers of Dehradun. 25 members of the club attended the event, along with the Coordinator Faculty Ms. Smriti Uniyal.
Mr. Ashraf interacted and shared his working experiences with the students on varied aspects of photography and film-making. He elaborated about various cameras, photography ethics and V logging. He also guided the students on how one can make a career in photography and enlisted the best cameras for pursuing photography as a career.
The Workshop was divided into time sections followed by different fun games like Treasure Hunt, Photo Exhibition and 24 Hour Film Making Challenge. In 24 Hour Film Making Challenge Akshat Maletha, student of MCS, won the First Prize for his short film “Palaayan”.
