Law College Dehradun felicitates Mukul Rawat for securing 6th Rank in JAG (Judge Advocate General , Indian Army)

Law College Dehradun, Faculty of Uttaranchal University, organized a grand Felicitation Ceremony to honor its alumnus Mr. Mukul Rawat of 2013-18 Batch, for his achievement in securing 6th rank in JAG (Judge Advocate General in Indian Army). As per the Merit List declared and placed on the website of Indian Army, Mukul Rawat secures 6th Rank whereas there total 13 candidates were selected from the entire nation.

Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi presented memento as a token of appreciation and recognition to Mr. Mukul Rawat. Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi acknowledged that it is his pleasure to felicitate such brilliant alumnus like Mukul Rawat, who has brought laurels to the college. He expressed his appreciation towards all the faculty members for motivating the students and kindling the hidden talents in them.

Principal and Dean Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bahuguna in his speech proudly stated that Mr. Mukul Rawat is the 3rd student of Law College Dehradun who got selected as Judge Advocate General. Prior to him two students were selected by Indian Navy and Indian Army. He insisted the students to make such seniors as their role model and remain focused towards their studies as hard work has no substitute.

Mr. Mukul Rawat in his address conveyed his gratitude to the Chancellor and Principal for the grand felicitation and expressed his gratefulness towards all the faculty members. Further he motivated the students by sharing some tips and techniques to crack competitive examinations. He insisted that the strict discipline followed in the college has played a major role in molding him as an individual. Mukul opined that the teaching methodology followed by the faculty members in the college helped him to crack all the rounds without even attending any special coaching. Speaking further he motivated the students to participate in all kinds of co-curricular activities as it will boost up their morale and confidence. He insisted the students to utilize their first two years of their course to equip themselves in every aspect like sharpening their oratory skills, analytical skills and current affairs etc.
