Eureka Club, the student club of Department of Physics organized a Quiz Competition on the occasion of World Health Day on 7th April 2021.The Quiz focused on testing the knowledge of students about common health topics. The competition was open for participation for all the streams of School of Applied & Life Sciences. A total of 32 students participated in the event. During the competition questions were asked from general health topics, WHO, COVID-19 Pandemic and science-related topics. Dr. B S Rawat, HOD-Physics, inaugurated the event.
The event was conducted by distributing the participants in six groups consisting of five members each for the first round. The winners of First Round competed against each other in the Second Round. As there was a tie between two members a final tie-breaking round was conducted to decide the winner. Praveg Bhatt of B.Sc. (Hons,) Physics, 2nd Year won the competition. Taniya of B.Sc. (Hons.) Physics, 2nd Year stood on the second position.
The event was coordinated by Ms. Reema Arora and Mr. Bhagwati Prasad who efficiently managed the entire event.
Mr. Prateek Uniyal, Dr. Ajaib Singh and Mr. Ravindra Sharma were present for the effective conduct of the Quiz Competition. The event ended on a cheerful note with a group photograph of the participants and the staff members.
