Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized a Guest Lecture on the occasion of “71st World Health Day” on 7 April, 2021 for the students of UIPS. The event was well coordinated by Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal (Convenor) under the guidance of Dr. Vikash Jakhmola, Dean-UIPS. The event included an address on “World Health” and the theme of Year 2021, i.e., “Building a Fairer and Healthier World for Everyone”.
The Guest Speaker of the day was Mr. Pratap Singh Panwar, President of Government Pharmacist Association, Uttarakhand. He was accompanied by the Guest of Honour Mr. B.S. Rana, District Pharmacist Officer, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
The event commenced with a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Vikash Jakhmola, Dean-UIPS and was carried forwarded by the Guest Speaker of the day. After the informative and intellectual lecture Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi and Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Devendra Pathak acknowledged the contribution of the eminent speaker by presenting him a token of appreciation. The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Mrs. Pallavi Ghildiyal.
