Department of Hotel Management, under the aegis of Uttaranchal University, celebrated “World Tourism Day” on 27th September 2018. DEPARTMENT OF HOTEL MANAGEMENT organized varied events to mark the celebrations in which ‘Taste of Uttaranchal University’ was the center of attraction.
The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi and Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi by lighting the auspicious lamp. The dignitaries then proceeded to the presentation of the dishes and tasted all the dishes. 12 Teams from all the constituent colleges of Uttaranchal University participated in ‘Taste of Uttaranchal University’ and presented special and unique dishes. They presented their culinary skills and prepared dishes like RasMalai, Chawalka Paratha, Aaloo ki Tikki, Chicken Biryani, BuraniRaita, and Pasta.
Hon’ble Chancellor presented Trophies and Certificates to the winners of the event and blessed them for all future endeavors. The event was conceptualized and coordinated by Mr. Manish Badoni.
