Department of Hotel Management, UIM, Uttaranchal University conducted a Workshop on Flair Bartending on 23/10/2019 which was attended by BHM students.
Workshop was inaugurated by HOD- Department of Hotel Management, Mr. Manish Badoni.
In his inaugural speech Mr. Badoni said “Learning is continuous and every day one must learn new skills, every skill you learn makes your success chances double “.
The workshop was conducted by Mr. AjeetsinghNegi& Team, representing International Institute of Beverage Management Dehradun, a renowned BAR expert in North India.
Mr. Ajeet started the session with a PPT presentation on – The Bartenders role, responsibilities, techniques to increase business, basics of mixology , types of Bartenders, costing etc.
At the end of the PPT session, students asked a no. of questions and scopes of Bartending .
He also showed students BAR equipments, Various Glasses, Ice Types.
Session concluded by a fire Flair show by Mr. Jagan and Mr. Rijul , Flair Bartenders from Nepal and Kerala and a note of thank you by HOD sir to all the Participants.
