To pay homage to the Martyrs of Uri, Students, teachers and staff of the Uttaranchal University assemble at Law College Dehradun and organized candle march up to the main gate of the university. During procession students were holding colour photographs of all the martyrs. They were shouting slogans to live long martyrs of Uri and also to live long for every martyr individually. At the end of the candle march they observed silence for two minutes to pay their homage to the martyrs.
The candle march was organized jointly under the aegis of Legal Aid Centre, Debating Society and Moot Court Society of Law College Dehradun, Uttaranchal University.
Those were present Mr. Jitendra Joshi, Chancellor of the University, Director Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Registrar S. C. Sharma, Principal Law College Dr. Rajesh Bahuguna, Dr. Poonam Rawat, N. C. Uniyal, Dr. Prabha Lama, Kumar Ashutosh, Naresh Semwal and teachers and students of the University.
