As a precursor to the launch of “Swachh Bharat Mission”, ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ was observed on 20th September 2016.
Under this mission the NSS Wing of the Uttaranchal University conducted the Poster Presentation on ‘Swachhta hi Seva’.
Hon’ble Chancellor of Uttaranchal University Mr. Jitender Joshi, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi inaugurated the event. More than 50 students and faculty members of the University participated in the event.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. V.K. Srivastava, NSS Coordinator of the University. Dr. Srivastava motivated the students and explained the benefits of planting trees, methods of reducing pollution, alternative of plastics and different aspects which can make our social and moral values stronger.
