NSS Wing of the Uttaranchal University celebrated the Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel on 31st October, 2018. The NSS Wing of Uttaranchal University had organized a ‘Pledge Taking Ceremony’ and ‘Run for Unity’ to commemorate “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas”.
The event was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chancellor and Vice-Chancellor of the University. Students from all the colleges of the University took the oath to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation and participated in ‘Run for Unity’ to spread awareness. 300 students of the University and 100 NSS Candidates had participated in the event.
The event was organized under the supervision of Dr. V.K. Srivastava, NSS Coordinator, Uttaranchal University. Dr. Ajay Singh (Principal-SALS), Dr. Manoj Kumar Sharma, Mr. Atma Nand, Dr. Ajay Singh, Ms. Dipika Saxena, Dr. Shalu Choudhary and Dr. Mohit Kumar were present on the occasion.
