NSS Wing of the Uttaranchal University organized Mega Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of Constitution Day on 26 November, 2019. Blood contains essential life-saving elements that aid the body in the fight against illnesses and injuries. It is also important to remember that any one of us may need blood at some point in our lives, and hence making blood donation an essential duty of our citizenry. The purpose to organize a blood donation camp is to motivate people to donate blood. The purpose of blood donation camp to select a suitable donor whose blood will be safe to the recipient and who himself shall not, in any way, be harmed by blood donation. NSS organized the camp successfully and made people aware of significance of blood donation.
