Uttaranchal University – Computer Science Society (UU-CSS) organized an Inter College Theater Act Competition entitled “Dramebaaz” on 1st December 2017. The objective of the event was to bring out and showcase the talent of the students from the constituent faculties of Uttaranchal University. 12 teams from all the constituent colleges participated in the Audition Round out of which 5 teams were shortlisted for the Final Round. The Hon’ble guests of the event were Prof. (Dr.) N.K.Joshi, Vice Chancellor , Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Director, Student Affairs and IT Services and Dr. B. Lonia, Director, Uttaranchal Institute of Technology. The dignitaries inaugurated the event by lighting the auspicious lamp.
In his address, Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi, appreciated the organization of such events and stated that they help the students to bring out their hidden talent and boosts their confidence. Dr. Abhishek Joshi, Director-Student Affairs and IT Services congratulated the students and motivated the participants to actively participate in all the co-curricular activities.
The jury comprised of Dr. Shriya Goyal, Mr. Shashank, Mr. Tarun Kumar and Ms. Reetu. The teams were adjudged on 4 criteria namely acting, co-ordination, dialogue delivery and content.
The event concluded with Medal and Certificate Distribution.
The event was organized under the supervision of Ms. Sumita Lamba, Incharge, UU-CSS who extended her gratitude towards the entire team of UU-CSS for making the show a success in a short span of time.
