Department of Computer Science & Engineering, UIT organized an Industrial Tour to Chandigarh and Shimla from 24th October, 2018 to 26th October, 2018. 92 students of CSE 2nd and 3rd Year availed the opportunity of gaining full awareness about industrial practices. Through this Industrial Visit the students were informed regarding new technologies and trends. Department of CSE is fully aware of the significance of building relationship with companies / industries.
The tour was carried out in following sequence of events:
24th October 2018:
• Left University for Chandigarh in the wee-hours of the day and reached Chandigarh at 12:00 Noon and proceeded to Industry A2 IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Mohali.
A2 IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is the product of syndicated effort of a team of experts with over a decade of experience in their respective fields. Its prime objective is to render quality services in the aspects that play a major role in IT industry viz. Telecom Network Integration, Mechanical Engineering Solutions, Software Engineering Solutions, Automation Engineering Solutions, Application Development, Enterprise Business Solutions, Business Applications and Consulting.
• Post lunch, left Mohali at 3:30 PM for Shimla and reached Hotel Royal Jardin Whistling Pines, Shimla at 10:00 PM for overnight stay.
25th October 2018:
• Checked out post breakfast & left hotel for Kufri “The hill view point of Shimla” where students enjoyed adventure activities at the top viz. zip line, roller coaster and go-kart racing etc.
• Post lunch, left Kufri at 3:30 PM for Mall Road, Shimla.
• At 8:00 PM students reached back to hotel and enjoyed Bonfire and dance on DJ.
26th October 2018:
• Morning post early breakfast checked out & proceeded to home-town “Dehradun” with happy memories & learning experience beyond classroom.
The tour was organized under the supervision of Head of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dr. Sumit Chaudhary who was accompanied by a team of Faculty Members, namely, Mr. Tarun Kumar, Mr. Sanjeev Sharma and Mrs. Madhu Kirola.
