A Workshop on AutoCAD 2D and 3D Software was jointly organized by Civil Engineering Department & Ensino Research and Development Pvt. Ltd. on 25th & 26th February, 2020. The Workshop initiated with an Introduction Note delivered by Mr. Ashok Kumar, Training Manager- Ensino Research and Development Pvt. Ltd.
The Workshop initiated with the basics of Engineering Drawing and proceeded to Structural Drawings using AutoCAD Software. AutoCAD is a commercial computer-aided design (CAD) and drafting software application. It is used for a number of applications like creating blueprints for buildings, bridges and computer chips to name a few. It allows a user to conceptualize ideas, product designs and drawings to the required level of technical accuracy, perform rapid design calculations and simulations in the field of manufacturing industries.
The First Day of the Workshop consisted of basic knowledge about AutoCAD 2D and 3D given by Mr. Dinesh Negi, Design Engineer Ensino Research and Development Pvt. Ltd. The Second Day consisted of hands on practice by the students on Auto CAD Software supervised by Mr. Amit Kumar, Ensino Research and Development Pvt. Ltd.
The Workshop was successfully organized by Mr. Vinod Balmiki, Assistant Professor, Civil Engineering Department.
The event concluded with Vote of Thanks delivered by Mr. Awadhesh Chandramauli, Head – Department of Civil Engineering.
