Under the Gender Champion Club association with Women Cell of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology organizes a Group Discussion Competition on topic, “Gender Equality in the Workplace” for all the engineering students, on 27 Feb, 2020 in the Seminar Hall of Aryabhatt Block in which all the students of Uttaranchal Institute of technology were invited to participate with full enthusiasm and zeal with the aim of to evaluate students communication skills, improve their argument skills and presentation skills as well as to build up their confidence level.
In this Group Discussion Competition the students did in depth analysis of the issues and problems standing in the way of achieving “Gender Equality in the Workplace” in our country in front of the jury and the audience. This group discussion went smooth and participants showed there remarkable performance in the competition.
The activity was organized and executed by Ms. Madhu Kirola (Coordinator– Gender Champion Club, UIT) with student co-coordinators Yatin Grag and Vaishali Agarwal CSE 2nd Year Students.
The participants were analyzed and judged by Dr. Meenakshi Memoria, Dr. Sunil Ghildiyal, Mr. Himanshu Goel. All the faculties judged the efforts of the students with utmost care and objectivity.
The winner of the competition were Vivek Diwedi-1stposition (CSE 3rd Year),Yatendra Singh-2nd position (Civil 2nd Year) and Nitin Negi-3rd Position(CSE 3rd Year).
