The CSE Department of Uttaranchal Institute of Technology, Uttaranchal University organized a one-day Workshop on “Internet of Things (IOT) using Android” on 9th April, 2019. The participants were the B.Tech. students of 1st and 2nd Year of CSE branch.
The Experts for the session were Mr. Ashok Kumar and Mr. Anand Sharma of Ensino Research and Development Pvt. Ltd. The Workshop began with the welcome of the experts. In the Welcome Address, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University, Prof. (Dr.) N. K. Joshi extended his warm welcome towards the experts. Prof. Joshi congratulated the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for their continuous efforts to provide opportunities to the students wherein they can learn about the current trends and technologies in the field of IT industry as well as education.
Dr. Sumit Chaudhary, Head of CSE Department, introduced the Experts to the participants. He also discussed the importance of IOT Workshop in different fields including the Final Year Projects and research work.
The session was started by Mr. Ashok Kumar wherein he informed the students about the entire Workshop Schedule. The main focus of the Workshop was on performing hands-on-practical with Android.
Total 84 students participated in the Workshop. Students also provided the feedback of the Workshop and said that it was really helpful for them in their studies as well as for future mini projects to be developed in 3rd Year. The Workshop was coordinated by Workshop Coordinator Mr. Sanjeev Sharma.
