Deepansh Tomar of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, II Year (SOA) got his name registered in Limca Book of Records and India Book of Records for making “The Tallest Bicycle in the World”. The tallest bicycle measured 26 feet 2.9 inches. Deepansh created his bicycle in his second attempt. After his first failure he made few changes in the bicycle and rode it to a distance of 10 metres in the premises of Uttaranchal University on 25th May, 2018. He took 20 minutes and 25 seconds to cover the distance. Dr. (Prof.) J.P. Mishra, Principal, SOA congratulated him on his success and wished him for his future ahead.
