Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Uttaranchal University, organized a National Virtual Workshop on “Hospital Training” on 5th June, 2021 on Microsoft Team. Mr. Anil Bisht, Senior Pharmacist, Doon Medical College and Hospital, Dehradun, was the Guest Speaker of the event.
The workshop initiated with the Inaugural Speech delivered by Dr. Tarun Parashar, Organizing Secretary of the event, followed by the Welcome Address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Vikash Jakhmola, Dean – UIPS. He welcomed the Vice-Chancellor of University Prof. (Dr.) Devendra Pathak, the Guest of Honour and all the participants & faculty members on the virtual platform.
Mr. Anil Bisht told about the importance of practical training for Diploma in Pharmacy students and how it is feasible to complete the training during this Covid Pandemic & provide services in patient care. The session was very interactive as the Guest Speaker shared his own experiences with the participants.
The workshop was very interactive & informative and was a great success. It was attended by approximately 200 participants.
The workshop concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Tarun Parashar, Associate Professor – UIPS. E-certificates were distributed to all the attendees by the Organizing Committee.
