Uttaranchal Institute of Management successfully organized “Mann Ki Baat” for the students of Management, Computer Science, & Hotel Management on 9th and 10th April, 2021. The programme aimed at unleashing students’ ideas to design possible course of action for enriching the teaching-learning environment of the university.
The programme started with the story of Late Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya which was shared by Dr. Amitabh Bhargava, Head of the Department-Management with the students. Prof. Pradeep Suri, Dean-UIM- motivated students to generate their ideas for the enrichment of the varsity’s teaching-learning environment. Students were also encouraged to raise their concerns about the amenities provided by the university to facilitate their performance. The programme was well-received by the students and a large number of ideas were put forth by them. Prof. Suri took note of useful and potential ideas for transforming them into actions. He also listened to the concerns of the students and assured them to resolve their concerns as early as possible.
At the end of the event, Mr. Sameer Sharma proposed a Vote of Thanks.
The event was vastly commended by the students as it made them feel involved in the decision-making process of the university.
