To encourage the young minds to participate in extra-curricular activities for their overall development and to provide a platform to the students to compete with each other, Sports Club, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, Headed by Sports In-charge Mr. Barun Srivastava (along with Members Ms. Shailee Parmar, Ms. Lisa Gopal, Mr. Amarjeet Rawat and Mr. AKS Chauhan) organized an Intra–College Badminton & Table Tennis Tournaments from 9th February to 12th February 2019. The Finale of both the events were held on February 12th, 2019 which was inaugurated by Director-UIM Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri, who was accompanied by Dr. Anshul Sharma (HOD Management) and Dr. Sonal Sharma (HOD-IT).
Both the tournaments were conducted on knock-out basis and played in Boys and Girls, both categories. All the players showed their grit and sportsman spirit and competed ferociously by giving their best performance.
