Department of Computer Application, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, organized a Webinar on “Introduction to Cloud Native and Micro Services” on 22nd May, 2021 for the pre-final year students of MCA, BCA & B.Sc. (IT) programmes.
The Resource Person was Mr. Rohit Pandey, Senior Consultant – HCL Software (R&D Product Division) [Formerly Software Development Engineer at Rocket Software, USA].
Master of Ceremony Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak welcomed all the dignitaries and introduced the audience and participants to the importance of the Cloud Native in the present IT-Sector as currently it is one of the biggest trends in the software industry.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri welcomed Mr. Rohit Pandey and encouraged the students to participate in such types of events because they help a lot to learn and make them aware about the latest technologies coming in the industry and how to use the upcoming latest technologies.
Mr. Rohit Pandey started his session with the introduction of Cloud Native and Micro Service. His presentation was divided into four categories as mentioned below:>
- Cloud-Native
- Dockers and Containers
- Micro services
- DevOps and Version Controls
The session was very much informative as he had explained micro service with the example of Instagram social networking app. He explained in detail the working of micro services on Instagram. He also explained the working of DevOps and Version Controls with help of GITS online software.
Mr. Sameer Dev Sharma motivated the students to attend such types of events so that it would help them to keep updated. He also informed about many more such types of events that were lined up in future for the benefit of the students.
The event was successfully concluded with a Vote of Thanks which was proposed by Mr. Sameer Dev Sharma.
