Department of Computer Applications, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, organized a one-day Workshop on ‘CMS & FRAMEWORK’ in collaboration with ‘Ensino Research and Development Pvt. Ltd’ on 2nd December, 2019 for the students of BCA, B.Sc. (IT) and MCA. The purpose of the Workshop was to provide practical exposure to the students in the domain of Content Management System and Framewok.
Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak (Assistant Professor – Computer Applications) welcomed the dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri (Director, UIM), Mr. Ashok Kumar (Director, ERDPL) & Expert Mr. Mohd. Shvood (Trainer, ERDPL) and introduced the expert to the students. Mr. Abhishek emphasized upon the importance of conducting such events for the students. He explained that the purpose of the event was to provide first-hand experience of latest technologies to the students.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri motivated the students and advised them to keep themselves updated, especially in the field of Information Technology. Prof. Suri also encouraged the students to participate in such Workshops. Mr. Mohd. Shvood started the session with the basic concepts of HTML. He explained the students about how to use CMS as client side scripting and elaborated the concepts of Framework.
This Workshop turned out to be a huge success with the support of Mr. Sameer Dev Sharma, Mr. Anuj Kumar, Mr. Amarjeet Rawat, Mr. Ravinder Rawat (Cultural & Academic In-Charge), Mr. Anoop Negi (Registrar, UIM) and Mr. Anand Rawat (Lab In-charge, UIM).
