A two-day Career Development Workshop was organized by Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University, in collaboration with United Republic Services Pvt. Ltd. on 18th & 19th May, 2021 via the ZOOM Platform.
Mr. Raj Pandey, CFP CM & Corporate Trainer, was the eminent speaker for the said workshop.
Master of Ceremony, Mr. Shivendra Chaudhary and Dr. Mayank Pant hosted the workshop for BBA and B.Com. (Hons.) students and welcomed all the dignitaries.
On Day One, Mr. Pandey discussed the use of three weapons in Financial Management, i.e., Future Value (FV), Present Value (PV) and Regular Payments (PMT), which are very essential and evidenced to be very helpful in planning financial investments and managing these investments from time to time depending upon the need of the person. With the help of the advanced excel platform, he demonstrated the application of all these concepts by taking up different case studies for the better understanding of the students.
On Day Two, Mr. Pandey discussed the downward and upward trends of various stocks of different companies with the help of the website ‘in.investing.com’ and suggested the time periods when one should invest in the shares depending upon their bearish and bullish trends. He motivated students to start investing in a stepwise manner and once they understand the trends should go for more investments.
The workshop was very interactive, informative & was a great success. It was attended by approximately 70 students from BBA & B. Com. (Hons.).

The workshop was also attended by HOD-Management Dr. Amitabh Bhargava, along with other Faculty Members of Uttaranchal Institute of Management, Uttaranchal University.
