A series of ‘Board of Studies’ Meetings were organized by Uttaranchal Institute of Management on 1st August and 13th August, 2019 to revise the syllabus of MBA, BBA and B. Com. (Hons.). The members of “Board of Studies’ included Dr. Pradeep Suri, Director-UIM, as the Chairman and Dr. Anshul Sharma, HOD(Management), as the Member Secretary. Dr. RajatAggarwal (Associate Professor, DMS, IIT Roorkee), Dr. S.R. Sharma (Director, Nimbus Academy of Management, Dehradun) attended the meeting as External Members, Dr. HimanshuAggarwal, Head, HRM, Om Logistics Ltd. attended the meeting as Industry Expert and Dr. Amitabh Bhargava, Professor, UIM attended the meeting as Member.
The drafts of revised syllabus, as suggested by the UGC, were presented before all the members of BOS. The Experts put forth some valuable suggestions which were deliberated upon by all the members. Some of the suggestions, proposed by the experts, were accepted by all the members unanimously and were incorporated in the syllabus.
