Department of Computer Applications, Uttaranchal Institute of Management, organized a one-day Workshop on ‘Advance Java Script’ in collaboration with Achiever Dream Institute of Management (ADIM) for the students of MCA, BCA and B.Sc. (IT) on 17th October, 2019. The purpose of the Workshop was to provide practical exposure to the students in the domain of Web Development.
Mr. Abhishek Kumar Pathak (Assistant Professor – Computer Applications) welcomed the dignitaries including Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri (Director – UIM), Mr. Manu Pant (CEO, ADIM), Mr. Shah Alam (Director, ADIM) and Mr. Mohd Rashid (Expert Trainer, AIDM) and introduced the guests to the students. Mr. Abhishek Pathak emphasized upon the importance of conducting such events for the students. He explained that the purpose of the event was to provide a first-hand experience of latest technologies to the students.
Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Suri motivated the students and advised them to keep themselves updated, especially in the field of Information Technology. He also encouraged the students to participate actively in such Workshops. Mr. Mohd. Rashid initiated his presentation with the basic concepts of Java Script. He also imparted the working knowledge needed to do Programming and Debugging using Java Script. He elaborated the concepts of Java Script along with the working of API. Thereafter, he also replied to the queries from the students.
This workshop turned out to be a huge success with active support from Dr. Himani Maheswari, Dr. Sunil Shukla, Mr. Amarjeet Rawat, Mr. Ravindra Singh Rawat (Cultural & Academic In-Charge), Mr. Anoop Negi (Registrar, UIM) and Mr. Anand Rawat (Lab In-charge, UIM).
