The Knowledge Sharing Series reached its 7 session on Stolen Artifacts of India

The Knowledge Sharing Series reached its 7 session on 17 February 2022. The session was organized in room number 211, SLA Building at 4: 30pm. The speaker of this session was Mr Ashutosh Sharma. Dr Pinki Chugh, coordinator KSS welcomed the audience and invited the speaker for knowledge sharing.

Mr Ashutosh talked about the precious artifacts of India. The artifacts which were once the property of India are now adorning the museums of Britishers. He shared the information about the priceless pieces of architecture which belonged to Indian culture. Those artifacts were stolen at the time of wars.

He further added that if any Indian citizen wants to research Indian culture, he will have to travel to foreign countries, buy the tickets and then see them. So, it is a matter of great disappointment that we could not preserve those pieces which they are using for their business.

The session was quite informative. It aroused patriotic feelings in the audience. The session ended with a vote of thanks by the coordinator.
