Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences celebrated ‘Alzeimer’s Day’ (September 21st ) by organising a Nukkad Natak with the objective of enhancing awareness about Alzeimer and Dementia (Memory Loss) associated with its impact on the patient, family and the society. The play focused on symptoms like short term memory loss, difficulty in planning & solving problems, misplacing items and difficulty in making decisions which impacts a person’s daily life.
The play was ceremoniously inaugurated by the Chief Guest of the event, Hon’ble Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi and Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi. The play was enacted near Food Court during lunch time. All the students enjoyed the act and appreciated the efforts made by the students.
