Students of School of Liberal Arts performed a ‘Nukkad Natak’ entitled “Jal – Jeewan Ka Aadhar” to address the high need of Water Conservation. The Street Play was beautifully enacted and clearly reflected the current water situation in the country as a part of ‘Jal Shakti Abhiyan’ (JSA). The aim was to sensitize one and all present towards the urgent need of water conservation.

The students enacted the play in the University Campus on October 1, 2019. The play captured everyone’s attention and kept the audience actively engaged. It was a mesmerizing and captivating performance which was characterized by the emphatic voice of the actors and the creative storyline written by Pawan Singh Rawat (B.A. Semester I).

There were around twenty students who participated in the Nukkad Natak and gave their best to spread awareness regarding such an important environmental situation. The play stressed upon the importance of water conservation by presenting a glimpse into our future ‘without water’.
