Students of Department of Mechanical Engineering participated in “Engineeria 19” – an International Quiz Competition organized by CADD CENTRE and conducted for II and III year students in Mechanical Engineering Department, Uttaranchal University, on 21st September, 2019. Approximately 40 students actively participated in this Quiz Competition.
The Final Winner of this competition will get Prize Money of Rs. 25000/- along with Winner Trophy for the College, Certificates and Free Course Vouchers. The Second and Third Runner Up will get a Prize Money of Rs. 15000/- and Rs. 10000/- respectively along with Free Course Vouchers.
Mr. Vivek John and Mr. Piyush Agrawal were the Faculty Coordinators of the event.
Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr). N.K.Joshi appreciated the efforts of the students of B.Tech. (Mechanical Engineering) & emphasized that such competitions motivate students to think, create and exhibit innovative designs on a global platform for projects that can be practically implemented.
Head of the Department Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Joshi also appreaciated the efforts of students and emphasized on the importance of such competitions and the value of Free Course Vouchers for learning various software’s. He motivated the students for the future rounds.
Mr. Akshay Katiyar, CADD Centre Head, Dehradun and Mr. Madhur Sharma -Senior Engineer Business Support, Cadd Centre Corporate Office Delhi explained the concept behind the conduction of competitions like “Engineeria 19” which are divided into various rounds at different levels comprising of first round of eligibility test at College Level, second round contest at Centre Level, third round contest at Regional Level & Grand Final round at Global Level. They also explained about the recognition & award associated with this prestigious competition.
