School of Applied and Life Sciences organized Alumni Meet on 27th-28th February, 2020. The alumni arrived in large numbers to visit their alma mater. They were received by the Registration Team and were taken on a Campus Tour wherein they revisited the familiar place where they had studied and were shown the various developments that had taken place since then.
A Welcome Programme was organized for the alumni by their juniors. The event started with the formal lighting of the inaugural lamp followed by the recital of the University Anthem. Principal – SALS Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, in his Welcome Address, presented the College Report highlighting the various milestones achieved in the past few years. Songs presented by Shivanksha, Siddharth Sarkar and Manish Biswas were enjoyed by all present. Wonderful duet dance performances were delivered by Priya & Komal and Aroma & Renu.
The passed-out students were delighted by such a warm welcome. They shared their experiences in the interactive session with their juniors. Around 50 Alumni (Biotechnology – 09, Food Technology -19, Chemistry -13, Physics – 03, Mathematics – 5) came for the meet. The event was brilliantly anchored by Clifford Chand.
Fun Games were also organized which included three-legged race and throwing the coin in a bucket full of water. The alumni were extremely happy with the programmes organized especially for them by the Faculty Members and students of SALS.
