School of Applied and Life Sciences celebrates “Matribhasha Diwas 2021”

As per the directions of Ministry of Education with regards to celebration of “Matribhasha Diwas 2021” (International Mother Language Day) School of Applied and Life Sciences celebrated “Matribhasha Diwas 2021” on 22 February, 2021. A slogan writing event was organized by the Cultural Committee, School of Applied and Life Sciences to encourage, protect and conserve the cultural diversity of language all over India. Participants wrote  slogans in their native languages showcasing their creativity and artistic talent. 

10-15 minutes were given to each participant to complete their work. Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Singh, Dean – School of Applied and Life Sciences appreciated the efforts and creativity of every participant. He also specified that the slogans directly reflected their deep cultural connectivity and love for their art, music, and literature. 15 students from different departments participated in this event. 

The event was organized by Dr. Indra Rautela, Coordinator – Cultural Committee, SALS.

Prof.(Dr.) Bharti Ramola, President – Cultural Committee and  Prof. (Dr.) Poonam Negi Secretary – Cultural Committee also appreciated the efforts of all the participants. Faculty Members, namely, Dr. Archna, Dr.Reshu, Dr. Manoj, Dr. Mohit and Mr. Atmanand were present on the occasion.

Overall the event was a great success.
