School of Agriculture organizes Poster Making to celebrate “Earth Day”

On 22nd April, 2020 School of Agriculture, under the aegis of Cultural Committee – SOA, organized Poster Making. The event was organized under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) J.P. Mishra (Principal – SOA) and Dr. Geeta Gaur (Cultural Coordinator – SOA). The students of B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture participated in the event and being at home they presented their views through poster making. The day, this year, marked the 50th year since the first “Earth Day” was celebrated. Around the world, humans take a moment to recognize the harm inflicted by them on the very planet that sustains them. It is however surprising that humans, who dream about one day living on the planet Mars, cannot seem to stop themselves from killing the only planet in which they can live. The objective of this event was to showcase the views of students who are currently facing the unprecedented lockdown situation. The event cored on students’ perception towards the current scenario. Principal – SOA appreciated the efforts of the students.
