Uttaranchal Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences organized a ‘Painting Competition’ on 9th February 2019. Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Joshi, Vice Chancellor of Uttaranchal University and Dr. Anuj Mittal, Director – UIPS inaugurated the event. The event was organized on the theme of ‘Female Foeticide’. Students participated with lots of enthusiasm and expressed their feelings by means of their paintings.
The event was organized by the Cultural Committee under the guidance of Ms. Jyotsana Suyal.
Ms. Shivika Saxena of B.Pharm 2nd Year was the winner of Painting Competition, while Ms. Ananya Pandit of B.Pharm 2nd Year was the runner-up of the event.
Dr. Anuj Mittal, Director – UIPS appreciated the work done by the students and remarked that competitions of this sort increases the observational skills, response to thoughts, awareness and concern of the children towards knowledge of Indian Heritage.
