The virtual orientation Programme was held on 7thFebruary, 2022at 11:15am at Board room of Uttaranchal University. All students were invited to attend the programme online through Microsoft Team App. The Honorable Chancellor, Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Honorable Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Honorable Registrar, Director SA and IT, Director Human Resources, Dean Student Welfare, Deputy Registrar (P&G) cum Administrator and faculty members of Uttaranchal College of Nursing and on the other side fresher students were connected in Microsoft Teams.
The programme started with virtual lamp lighting ceremony by Honorable Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi followed by university Kulgeet.
Ms. Deepali Rawat, Faculty, Uttaranchal College of Nursing, gave a brief introduction of Uttaranchal University. Honorable Chancellor Shri. Jitender Joshi welcomed all the students and wished them all the best.
All higher authorities Prof. (Dr.) Dharam Buddhi, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Bhauguna, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, Mr. S C Sharma, Registrar, Prof. (Dr.) Abhishek JoshiDirector SA and IT, Ms. Ankita Joshi, Director Human Resources, Prof. (Dr.) Shravan Kumar, Dean Student Welfare, extended a warm welcome to new students by emphasizing the significance of professional education and congratulating students on their acceptance into the nursing profession. They all emphasized the importance of education and informed students about the University’s various resources.
Students were made familiar about the vision, mission, Course description of B.Sc. Nursing, various departments and lab like fundamental laboratory, pre-clinical laboratory, community and nutrition laboratory, Obstetrics and Gynecology laboratory and Peadiatric laboratory, A.V. aids laboratory and computer laboratory through power point presentation.
All the faculty members of Uttaranchal College of nursing congratulated and gave their best wishes to the students.
Afterwards Dr. Kartikey Deputy Registrar (P&G) cum Administrator gave warm wishes to the students and information regarding different facilities like Health Care Centre, auditorium, library, hostel for girls and boys, common room, and Environmental friendly campus of Uttaranchal University.
The program was culminated with National Anthem and vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Deepali Rawat.
