Department of Physics, Uttaranchal College of Applied and Life Sciences organized a one-day seminar on the topic “Introduction of Optical Fiber Technology” on 12 September, 2017. The seminar started with the Welcome Note delivered by Dr. B.S Rawat, Head – Department of Physics, UCALS. Dr. Vinod Rawat, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, VSKC Govt. (PG) College, Dakpatthar, Dehradun was the Resource Person. The seminar started with the introduction to optical fiber and their advantages. Later on Dr. Suneeta Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics, UCALS briefly discussed about different sensors based on optical fiber. The seminar was attended by sixty seven participants.
Dr. B.S Rawat, Head – Department of Physics, UCALS delivered a Vote of Thanks in which sincere gratitude was expressed towards Hon’ble Chancellor Shri Jitender Joshi for extending his kind support and encouragement for organizing the webinar. Respected Vice Chancellor, Uttaranchal University and Principal – UCALS were also thanked for their valuable presence.
