Mosaic, the Cultural Club of School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University organised the National Video Competition under the aegis of the office of Dean Student Welfare on 8 August 2022. The event was organised to honour the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign initiated by the Government of India under the auspices of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’. The idea was to celebrate 75 years of Indian independence and encourage citizens to value and respect the national flag. Students from various departments participated and showcased their videos on the theme. The Hon’ble judges, Dr Pinky Chugh and Ms Anamika Thapa announced the results and declared Khushi Singh from BA Sem V as the winner. Himanshi Mishra from BA Sem III and Ridhima Vermani from BA LLB (H) Sem III secured the second and third positions respectively. The air was filled with patriotism when some audience members recited poems and shared their ideas and thoughts about the Indian Independence movement. Team Mosaic concluded the event by proposing a vote of thanks to the participants, judges, and audience members for making this event a great success.
